“We had an issue come up late at night and we called these guys at 8 the next morning. Even though they were booked up, they fit us in and got to our house less than 2 hours after we called. “This guys work is complete trash. Paid for new septic lines. They recommended the foam popcorn filled lines, said they last a lot longer. Its been 7 years and I am going to have to replace them again because the foam in the lines has collapsed. And while installing these lines he broke down an entire 20 foot section of my fence, then refused to put it back up or have it rebuilt. When my wife called to question him about the products he installed all she got was yelled at by the owner. “We had this recurring problem of sewer backups in our home (constructed in the mid 2000's). An earlier video inspection had concluded a belly in one of the major sewer lines under our slab. The plumbers asked for some unholy (in my opinion) amount of money to fix the issue. We managed around the issue for some time then when were were ready to repair, we considered Spanky's, among other plumbers. Spanky's had the lowest estimate. BY FAR. Their detailed sewer locator mapping accurately identified where the issue was. And it turned out to be a hump, not a belly, in the line (most likely caused by mistake during construction). Trae and Eric did an excellent job accessing the pipe and fixing the issue. With the most minimum tear to the slab. Very friendly people to be around and work with. They explained things well, took my suggestions in to account, and answered my MANY questions. Cleaned up very well after finishing. At the end, they adjusted the price downwards because the problem turned out to be straightforward to resolve. An indicator of fair business practice. “Do not use! Mr. White came out to clean and inspect our septic system after two days of heavy rain. (First red flag!) He told my husband the yard was too wet to do anything and that he had not been able to get to the tank to clean it, yet he claimed we needed new field lines. (2nd red flag! How do you know if you didn't inspect the tank? There were no other indications of potential problems.) We had another company come out to finish the job - Mr. White had not even cleared all the way down to the tank lids, he had not put the lid back on flush from the last time he came to clean it (5 years ago!), and we do not need new field lines. “Took them an hour to locate to septic tank. Had to come back the next week to do the work, but didn’t show for appointment. Once they dug up the tank they “cleaned” it and wrote a report saying it needed to be replaced. Had to hire another company to actually clean the tank (2 feet of sludge left by Whites) and reinspect tank and put lid back on tank. Whites did not place lid back on correctly and the tank filled full of run off water. Would not use company again. They didn’t seem very knowledgeable and contradicted everything they said.
