“Mathis was able to provide same day service to my home when I was in a bind, unable to use any of my fixtures since drains were backing up. The first person that arrived was kind, professional, and tried his best but could not find the tank lid. He contacted another guy to come help. The second guy, I think there were two actually, not only helped find the tank lid but went above and beyond to help fix my issue. He explained septic maintenance and when pumping it out and doing the normal stuff they do didn’t make it possible to flush my toilet, he offered to clean out the drain line and explained the extra cost. He even politely interrupted my calling a plumber to make sure I understood they could jet the drain line, which saved me money bc I wasn’t paying a whole separate company for their entire fee (obviously it’s cheaper to have someone who is already there do a task than to pay for a whole second service call from another company that focuses on plumbing rather than septic). They kept working at it until the job was complete. I’m very happy with both of the gentlemen that I spoke to in person and recommend Mathis. They were thorough and helpful and there were no hidden charges. Another company I called charges less…UNTIL you factor in their “trip fee” which is idiotic. If they can pump out a septic tank via zoom, then I guess it makes sense to charge a trip fee if they have to show up. But since that’s not a thing, that’s dumb. Just give me the price: Mathis does that—they tell you the price and tell you the details of additional charges if there are extra things they recommend or find that need to be done.”

“We recently contracted Mathis & Sons Septic, LLC. and had a magnificent experience with this company, its owner and staff. First I have to say, that after calling and reading countless reviews for septic companies who could come to our assistance with our septic system, I decided to hire Mathis & Sons, because some other companies were very impersonal, greedy and others had the worst customer service you could imagine. They kept telling me that someone would give me a call back in 24 to 48 hours, but they never did. Other company told me that it would take 3 to 4 weeks to get the permits for a new septic system installed, before starting the job. Believe or not but Mathis & Sons got the permit in 10 Days! Also the price was very reasonable. This company is family owned, and by which you receive a more personalized treatment, they made every effort to be efficient, professional and their technicians are permanently supervised by the company owner himself, and I always prefer to support a family owned business. Therefore, I had the privilege of being taken care by the owners themselves. I recalled when I first contacted the company, I had Johnny take care of my call, he was very professional and very attentive to answer all my questions, really an amazing person, very knowledgeable and with great people skills. Promptly and in couple days, I had the owner coming to my house to do an evaluation and estimate, he was very helpful in explaining every detail of the work that needed to be done, as far as I can tell, he left nothing out. He also came to my house the day of service, he walked me through the process from start to finish, before they started the job. The team at Mathis & Son Septic,LLC was prompt, professional, and quick on the job. They finished in record time, same day, Pedro and his team who installed my new septic tank and drain field, are real dare devils, very professional and very nice, respectful and considerate. Kudos to Mr. Mathis, the owner, and his team because they went above and beyond to provide us with the best service experience. Thank you so much for a great job.
