We first met CJ when he came out to repair a septic line at our older home in Brier Crest Woods (Blakeslee). From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He explained every step of what he was doing, which gave us so much confidence and peace of mind. He went truly above and beyond — the kind of service you rarely see anymore. So when we moved into our new home and needed a cleanout, there was NO question who I was calling. I didn’t even realize at first that CJ now owns Avalanche Septic — and honestly, it makes perfect sense. His work ethic, expertise, and customer-first mindset are unmatched. Before scheduling the appointment, I checked out their website — nicely done, easy to navigate, and I loved seeing all the staff listed. When I called, I was immediately impressed. Instead of dealing with an automated phone tree, I got a REAL person on the line. CJ’s mom, Beth, answered the phone and was an absolute pleasure to speak with. Friendly, helpful, and efficient — she got us scheduled immediately. It was refreshing to talk to a human being instead of pressing 1 for English or fighting with some automated system. On service day, Brandon and Billy arrived and they were fantastic. Before doing anything, they double-checked that it was okay to bring the truck on the property since we had a brand-new driveway — extremely thoughtful and respectful. They were courteous, conscientious, professional, and very personable. I had a ton of questions because I wanted to understand more about our three-tank system, and both Brandon and Billy took the time to explain everything clearly. They even showed me where the cleanout pipes were on the turkey mound and walked me through how the whole system works. These two young gentlemen absolutely deserve recognition for their outstanding work. As soon as they left, I called the office to tell Beth how wonderful they were. “I called Avalanche Septic to have our system pumped out. It turned out we needed a new pump for the sand mound. Avalanche followed through. The owner, CJ, came out and troubleshooted the issue. We had to replace the pump and do some rewiring. He was very efficient, and he knew what he was doing, and the price was reasonable. “I highly recommend Avalanche Septic Services! I hired them after having issues with our original septic company when needing to fully replace our system. Not only do they pick up the phone, but they also email you back very quickly and keep in touch, a seemingly difficult business task for a lot of companies in this area. From the very start they were knowledgeable and super helpful, I felt comfortable with hiring them being over 3 hours away from where the install was needed in a vacation home. We needed a well waiver and they helped with the entire process and even went to the township hearing to make sure it would pass. When it came time to the install, they showed up when they said they were and when there was rain issues that held up the timeline, they communicated that immediately. Upon the install, they realized a few issues with the design that the old company had created and went out of their way to work with the SEO to help correct it, which saved our stone walkways that cost a lot of money!
