βZach was very professional. They did a great job and made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. I really appreciated them taking the time to show and explain the work. Great experience overall.β
βI do not recommend. This is based on septic tank failure (my fault for not emptying) and subsequent field line replacement. I'll start with the good. They were very courteous and fast. That's it. The bad. Absolutely no attention to detail or care in how the job was done. The septic tank is on the NW corner of my house. On the east side of my house is a concrete driveway that extends almost the entire length of the house. This is where the fun begins. I cleared the driveway on that side so they would have unimpeded access to the back. This would require they navigate around a tree, but that's it. I knew the back yard would be destroyed in this process, but nothing could have prepared me for the extent of the destruction. They decided they would access from the front of the house along the west side. This side was grass and had a french drain. They parked the trailer in the front yard, dumped the fill gravel in the front yard, and proceeded to go back and forth to the back yard digging and carrying gravel for this job. Now both my back yard and front yard are destroyed. I'm still digging gravel out of my front yard and side just so I can mow the grass. The french drain was crushed, so now I have to replace this. They left the majority of the old field line debris/trash, so I have to dispose of this. There was a beautiful little red maple in the back yard that got dug up and discarded. This isn't such a deal breaker on it's own, but I've had work done in the past digging lines in the back and that company actually moved the maple which was a nice touch. There is an electrical line for lighting in the back yard that was dug up with no attempt to place it back in it's original position. At some point I'll have to dig that line up and rebury it. Another minor thing is there were decorate river rocks around a tree. During the excavation they dumped the dirt on top of these rocks. When they filled the trenches back in, they apparently gathered up those rocks as well. And, finally, any tree that was even close to where they were working had multiple limbs torn off by the excavator. To sum up: didn't use obvious path leading to both front and back yard being destroyed, crushed french drain, tore our electrical cable, scared several trees in the yard, and destroyed a lovely little maple.β
βTommy and Willy from Rooterman serviced our septic tank and provided excellent, professional service. They efficiently located the clean-out cover and completed the work promptly and thoroughly. The pricing was fair, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. We will definitely contact them again for any future plumbing needs.β
βAdam was very professional and personable. He explained everything he was doing and showed me the leak in my pipes. I have used Rooter Man a few times and have been very happy with the outcome. I would recommend them to anyone.β
