“Firstly, we have used Superior for years. They have treated us right every time! We had a sink hole in our yard. This was a first! We called Superior and Mike came out and looked at it. He thought it was a collapse at the ‘T’ where 2 downspouts connected. He was right. After Rodney and Zack came out (and much hand digging) the connection was exposed and discovered that the pipe was bent and had a big hole in it! How does that even happen?! “I had another group come out for a clogged drain and they couldn't fix the problem, but charged me 375.00 for trying. So I called Lehman to come out, 2 hours later they are sitting in my drive working on the issue, about 20 minutes later a pump truck is there. They not only cleaned the drain out, they also pumped my septic tank and made sure the water was flowing into the tank. I would definitely recommend them . “I Called them this morning to inspect the septic issue for the red light and alarm being on. I was greeted with a female that sounded like she just woke up. No intro "Hi, thank you for calling Lehman...." or anything that would determine that I've reached a business or anything. I continued with my initial problem, and was advised that they had someone in the area which wouldnt be long before they could arrive. Then received a text message 1 hour later, proving another 1 hour 15 minute arrival time. No call, No Show. I then made contact with female again, advising of no show no call, and she would call me back. Gave her another full hour to provide me with a status and was sent to voicemail. Voicemail stated they would return my call promptly within 15 minutes and I was instead sent a text saying the same tech from earlier was just now enroute. Then I found other various reviews online also having the same communication issues that I am experiencing. Time is of the essence, and not calling nor showing up for an appointment is further waste of time. “Loved Downs for years, but once Wilson took over the management / scheduling / customer service is one-star at best. No issues with the pumpers / techs, but had to call multiple times to request an appointment, nobody called until 20 minutes prior to arrival to schedule, they marked the job as completed despite NOT completing the work because I couldn’t provide payment with 20 minutes notice while I was off site at work. And not a single call back from their schedulers to try and rectify the situation or notify us the tank wasn’t pumped, despite their automated system stating the job was complete. “This is not a 2-star rating because of they employees. The service technicians were great; they were courteous and professional, which gives them the extra star from one. However, this rating is for the following reasons: 1) Ever since Downs Septic got purchased by Wilson, they are ridiculously expensive. I was experiencing an issue with my septic system. Technicians came out a few days later for assessment. At minimum, the quote they provided me was 3.5x more expensive than the competition. However again, the techs were not confident that the $700 solution would work, so they quoted me a proposed solution at 7x higher than the competition. Think about that. A competitor quoted me $200 for a solution, which resolved my issue, and at 7x more expensive, Downs quoted me $1400 for a solution. That is absolutely absurd. 2) They are using too much AI customer service, and on top of that, I was bombarded with follow ups. I got requests for follow-up multiple times a day from different representatives. After all the requests, I finally responded and explained how absolutely exorbitant their prices are, and only then did they tell me that they price match. Now, I get why they wouldn't state that up front, but still, the prices and bombardment of follow-ups created a poor customer experience. I am hoping Wilson reads this, and their recent negative reviews, and considers changing their business plan to be more like Downs (affordable, competitive) and much less like Wilson...” — Dannibal The Cannibal, ⭐⭐

“Called in the morning for an estimate on a repair, was happy to hear that the aerator was actually still under warranty and that there would be no charge or service call fee. Was told that someone would be out the next day. Later the same day a technician called stating they were 20 minutes away. He told me the repair was not actually under warranty and would be $450 and $150 service call since I am not under contract with them. I called their office back, explained the situation and Robin apologized for the incorrect information given to me in the morning and I was ok with the new $600 estimate. The technician did the work and told me that because I was not under contract with them and they were not accepting contracts their company would not be able to maintenance the aerator in the future and the actual total was $780. From $600 to $780 instead of free under warranty work! I told him since they couldn't work on it I should have my contracted company install it, all I had called for in the morning was an estimate. Then I was asked to pay for the $150 service call and the aerator that was working poorly before they came out doesn't work at all now. “This is my first time owning a home with a septic system so admittedly I do not know much about the working of a septic system. I used All Town and Country to pump my septic tanks just 2 months ago. When they came and pumped my tanks I trusted them when they said they cleaned the tanks properly. Late last night my sump pump went out and I had to have a different company that had 24hr emergency service come out and as they inspected my tanks they said the have not been pumped in a long time. I told them I just had someone out to pump both tanks 2 months ago and they could not believe they left so much behind. They recommended that I call All Town and Country back and ask them to come out and do the job properly. When I called them they were rude and unprofessional. They completely denied any wrong doing and refused to make it right. When they refused I told them that I would no longer use their service (after using them for the last 5 years regularly) and they did not care at all! They ended the call with me by saying “we will note your account that I would no longer use them” and hung up on me!
