Over the weekend, our plumbing system’s circuit breaker kept tripping and we couldn’t figure out what was going on, so we called VSE. Even though it turned out not to be a major issue, VSE was great. Tommy and Austin were thorough, cleaned and inspected the system, and took the time to explain how everything works. They confirmed the pump and float were working properly and within the correct amperage range. “Pro-Tec was hired on by my realtor to inspect the septic system of a house we were purchasing. A written report of the findings was promised, but to date has not been received. They did not communicate with their field agent who showed up at the wrong time and did not wait for us to go over the findings with him. His verbal report was helpful but was less convincing to the sellers than a timely written report would have been. They need to work on their internal as well as their external communications. “Horrible experience. They stood us up for 3 days. Promised scheduled appointments but kept pushing us off for 3 days. No communication. Service Provider, Joseph, showed up at house and texted home owner “trees need trimmed” and left property. If service provider would have taken a moment to talk to home owner (who was waiting in the house all day for him) - there were several different ways to enter property, trash dumpster trucks and fire trucks drive the road weekly, no tree branch issues. Joseph was over booked and took one glance and left to make other jobs. It was an emergency job with little kids in the home. We have called and scheduled for 3 days with this company. Called another company Lone Star Septic and they immediately answered our request and able to come out to help. Highly recommend Lone Star Septic. “For six years I held Charlie accountable for his "3 visits per year is legal septic regulation" because if I didn't he wouldn't show up. When contract was up for renewal, he would show, and provide renewal paperwork For six years I had a leaking Driptech system, with multiple problems, that were kept secret from me until I contracted with this new company.. Charlie's team didn't understand the system and wasn't qualified to service it!!!! But did anyway? Amazing!! There was the one time I had the pump outage, and he wanted to charge me full price + service.. I reminded him I was on contract with the service plan.. We argued and he (regrettably) waived service and charged full price for equipment. The team promptly installed incorrect equipment and we did it all over again.. same argument, same ignorant, negligent company owner trying to make a quick buck. Best part? “550 to pump my septic... told me that my tank would not open both tanks so they pumped only one... two days later I had a company come to replace the whole system only to find only half of the tank was pumped BUT BOTH access points were able to be opened! Texas septic was contacted however they never responded to my messages or call me back.
