βExcellent experience with Tri-County Pumping! I've never had septic before, but purchased a new home and wanted to start off with a "clean" tank. I made a list of companies to call for pricing in no particular order. Tri-County was the first company I was actually able to reach somebody -- Erika was kind, helpful and informative with up-front and reasonable pricing. She kept me updated with my appointment and Corbet arrived to my house on time. The tanks weren't where we thought they were -- Corbet wasn't deterred and worked tirelessly to locate and dig to the tanks, and ultimately completed the pumping. I could not have asked for a better experience with this service and will definitely call them back when it's time for pumping again. You guys did a great job -- thank you!β β Bill Patterson, βββββ

βBrandon and Thomas from "Burleson Septic Cleaning" are heroes to me. I called on Burleson Septic Cleaning several years ago to empty our tank believing this would resolve a backup issue in our home. Emptying the tank did not resolve the issue but Brandon asked if he could use my garden hose to try & correct the plumbing issue he believed was causing the backup. He fixed the problem! I knew who to call when a small sink hole over my septic tank was discovered. Thomas came to the rescue and determined that the lid had collapsed on one of our tanks. When they came to replace the lid a bigger problem was exposed, the tank itself had had also been damaged. Thomas recommended contacting my home owners insurance provider to to see if they would cover what would be a much larger expense than either of us had anticipated. To my delight my insurance company agreed to cover cost of a new aerobic system so Thomas recommended a different company to install, they don't install these systems. The cost of new system would be around $15,000. My insurance company called me later to report they'd made a terrible mistake and would not cover any of the cost of a collapsed septic system. I contacted my heroes to see if there was another option. These two guys repaired the old tanks using their creativity and know how at a fraction of what the new system would cost me. I recommend Burleson Septic Cleaning to anyone with a septic system. Good, trustworthy, hardworking & caring men do exist and two of them work for Burleson Septic Cleaning.β β Dee Perez, βββββ

βWe are Clearwater Plumbers customers for life; they're an absolutely incredible company that exudes top notch customer service. We've been using them for several years now, but our latest experience sealed the deal. Recently we had them come out for a sewer pipe inspection from another plumbing company which provided us with a yearly scope of our line. They discovered a slab leak underneath our home due to a shifted sewer line. The estimate to fix the line was very high. We decided to get a second opinion, so we called Clearwater. Jason and Andrew were able to come out immediately to check the line. They ran a camera through the line and did see the disconnection but further under our slab, quite a bit further than the other company noted in their estimate. Jason gave us a quote that was much more affordable. Jason told me the excavation crew could be there the next day. The excavation company Clearwater uses was wonderful. I've never seen 3 more hardworking individuals. It was amazing they were able to dig a 10' tunnel under our slab in less than 3 hours. A day later, Jason and Andrew from Clearwater arrived to take care of the repairs, schedule the final inspection and testing and get the excavation company to backfill the tunnel. Clearwater seamlessly took care of a major repair with finesse and professionalism. If you need a plumber, Clearwater is the one to call.β β Chuck Mencke, βββββ

βI thought I would give them a try since they are a small business and thought I would get good service since they have some decent reviews. They came out and I already had the lids off of the tanks. They asked me to pay in advance before they would pump tanks. I thought to myself that didnβt seem right, but I did it anyway. I them what size tank they had on the truck and they told me 1600 gallons. Then I asked what size were the tanks I had and they told 1500 gallons. So they proceeded to pump out the tanks. Then the guy exactly pumping out the tanks hollered at the guy setting in the truck and told him to stop pumping. I asked what the problem was and the guy pumping the tank said that the truck was full and he would to pump some back in into my tanks. I said I thought you had 1600 gallon tank on the truck . AND HERE IS THE REAL KICKERβ¦ He told me he would only pump water back into my tanks and no solids. I guess he really thinks that Iβm a dumb ass !!! I asked for a discount or if they were going to come back and pump the nasty stuff out that they pumped back into my tanks. Iβm SURE YOU KNOW THE ANSWER. ONCE THEY LEFT THEY NEVER CAME BACK. WITH ALL BEING SAID I WOULD NEVER CALL THEM BACK.β β john byrd, β
βCalled for my sister in law, I received top tier customer service and a fast response. The receptionist was very informative and nice. Anyways, would definitely recommend this business.β β LaTanya Jones, βββββ

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I pump my septic tank?
Most septic tanks should be pumped every 3-5 years, depending on household size, tank capacity, and water usage. A family of four with a 1,000-gallon tank typically needs pumping every 3 years. Regular pumping prevents solids from entering the drain field and extends your system's lifespan.
How much does septic pumping cost in Fort Worth?
Septic pumping in Fort Worth, Texas typically costs between $300 and $600, depending on tank size (750-1,500 gallons), accessibility, and the service provider. Request quotes from multiple companies listed above for the best price.
What are signs my septic system needs repair?
Warning signs include: slow drains throughout the house, sewage odors near the tank or drain field, standing water or soggy spots in the yard, gurgling sounds in pipes, unusually lush grass over the drain field, and sewage backing up into the home. If you notice any of these, contact a professional immediately.
Do I need a permit for septic installation in Texas?
Yes, Texas requires permits for new septic system installations and most major repairs. Permits ensure systems meet health and environmental standards. Your septic installer will typically handle the permit process, but fees are usually $200-$1,000 depending on your location.
How long does a septic system last?
A well-maintained septic system can last 25-40 years or more. Concrete tanks last the longest (40+ years), while steel tanks may only last 15-20 years before rusting. The drain field typically lasts 20-30 years. Regular pumping, proper use, and prompt repairs are key to maximizing your system's lifespan.
What is the difference between a septic tank and sewer?
A septic system is a private, on-site wastewater treatment system owned and maintained by the homeowner. A sewer system connects your home to a municipal treatment plant that processes wastewater from the entire community. Septic systems require regular pumping (every 3-5 years), while sewer systems charge monthly fees for centralized treatment.
